Since 2003, when James took a team to Liberia to train pastors in servant leadership, carpentry and agriculture skills, we have been supporting pastors through training, equipping and where able, a financial monthly stipend, to encourage them in their work.
The picture at the top of this page was taken in 2003. This group of pastors were the leaders in our relief feeding program done throughout Monrovia in 2003, and then in displaced camps around the country in 2004 and 2005.
Many of the pastors in Liberia give much of their time and service to small congregations who are not able to financially support them. We encourage our pastors to find alternative income sources such through agriculture.
Our training programs for Pastors and church leaders happen twice a year, around April and November.
